Notify NOC at ext. 3001 and log a change ticket before servicing. Confirm no active maintenance windows conflict.

Access the management interface via SSH on port 22 using the management IP above. Two-factor authentication is required.

Use backup config to save the running configuration before making any change. Verify with show startup-config .

After service, restore the uplink to xCTM Core LI:3 first, then verify all downstream access nodes resume connectivity.

Close the change ticket and update the CMDB entry for LI:116 to reflect any hardware or configuration changes made.
Caution — Do not power cycle without NOC approval
This node handles uplinks for 36 access switches; unplanned downtime will disrupt approximately 300 active endpoints across the Asia-Pacific region.
